About the Hualapai Lodge

Written by .View 's Blog.

The Hualapai Lodge is the preferred lodging for visitors to the Grand Canyon. Located just off historic Route 66, the Hualapai Lodge offers a heated salt water pool and spa as well as a fitness center. The area offers many outdoors activities including hiking, rafting, and flying over the majestic Grand Canyon. When visitors are not enjoying the natural scenery, they are welcome to relax in the great room, which is decorated in authentic Hualapai tribal artwork and features a river-rock fireplace and vaulted wood beam ceilings. Whether you work up an appetite white-water rafting or simply browsing the Lodge gift shop, you'll be pleased with the offerings at the Diamond Creek Restaurant, which include both familiar American fare and traditional Native American offerings such as Hualapai tacos and stew with fry bread.

Does HotelsByCity recommend this hotel?

The rooms at the Hualapai Lodge are comfortable and rustically decorated, but some visitors may be disturbed by the presence of a major train route within hearing distance. The service has received mixed reviews, but overall this is the highest rated hotel within an hour's drive. It is also the closest lodging to Grand Canyon attractions such as the skywalk, Guano Point, and Hualapai Ranch. With tours available by air (helicopter), land, and water (white-water rafting), there will be plenty to do besides hang out at the hotel. With so many amenities and nearby attractions at a very reasonable price, this hotel is an excellent value. Read our customer reviews?
