The 275-room Marriott Phoenix Mesa East Valley is located in downtown Mesa and provides luxury accommodation at an affordable price equally suited to the business or pleasure traveler. The 12-story, non-smoking hotel is 12 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and minutes from Scottsdale. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, a morning newspaper, in-room tea and coffee, local telephone calls and parking. There are 26 meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 1,815 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include six golf courses, the Phoenix Zoo, the Desert Botanical Gardens, Golfland Sun Splash Waterpark, HoHoKam Ballpark, Sun Devil Stadium, Chase Field, Goldfield Ghost Town and Mine Tours, the Dolly Steamboat at Canyon Lake and the Mesa Southwest Museum.

Businessmen are full of praise for this Marriott. They are impressed by the clean and spacious rooms with very comfortable beds, and a well equipped business center. Those who dined at the Café Azul said the food was excellent and the price reasonable for a hotel restaurant. Hotel employees were praised for being polite and efficient. There were complaints about the location not being in the best part of town. Despite this many clients said they would use this Marriott on future visits to the Phoenix area. All the guestrooms, and 10 suites, have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, Internet browser television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and two-line telephone with voicemail. Video games and players are available for rent.

The hotel’s Café Azul is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and room service is available from 6am until 11pm. The Java Lobby Bar is open throughout the day.
