it was a good experience for me except i got sick. no fault of the hotel, everything went fine with the hotel. every interaction with the staff was good, room taken care of, etc.

The hotel was very close to the canyon, and our bed was comfortable after a long day.

The location was great, right near the southern/western entrance of the grand canyon.

The breakfast area was very crowded, but the staff worked hard to keep the food stocked.

It was clean though the bathroom was a little small. The people staff who handled the breakfast were so kind and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Grand Canyon is convenient to the Grand Canyon National Park, Tusayan Museum and Ruins and the Desert View Watchtower. Imax Theater and restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. Complimentary Express Start Breakfast and high-speed wireless and wired internet will save your precious money and time. There is a whirlpool and pool. Staff is fluent in three European languages: German, English and Spanish. Traveling executives can take advantage of fax, copying and courier services. All public areas are air-conditioned. Both safety deposit boxes and an ice machine are within the premises for added comfort.

Natural light through large windows brightens up the rooms. Daily morning newspaper is delivered to the rooms free-of-charge. All accommodations feature color televisions with premium cable channels, private bathrooms, coffee makers and individual controlled air conditioning units.

The inn offers 194 car parking spaces for registered guests only. An onsite meeting room, covering an area of 8,100 square feet, can accommodate up to 200 guests in reception style of arrangement. The Holiday is a perfect choice to explore Grand Canyon. Almost all travelers were happy with its location. Many of them were satisfied with modern in-room amenities, clean rooms, soft beds, free breakfast and customer service. However, poor quality pillows, dark dirty tired rooms, malfunctioning showers, noise, ignored room preferences, weak internet signal and unfriendly staff were major concerns of some visitors. Another gripe was substandard breakfast buffet closed very early.
