The 155-room Holiday Inn Express Flagstaff is close to many of the city’s attractions and provides affordable quality accommodation for both families on vacation and the business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this five-story hotel are a shuttle service to both the Flagstaff Airport and Amtrak Station, a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room coffee and parking. There are three meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 75 guests. Area landmarks and attractions include historic Route 66, Northern Arizona University, Lowell Observatory, Museum of Northern Arizona, the Riordan Mansion, the Grand Canyon, Sedona, the Red Rocks, Meteor Crater, Sunset Crater, Painted Desert and the Petrified Forest.

Several families wanting to tour the Flagstaff area over a weekend said this Holiday Inn Express proved to be the ideal base. The rates were very reasonable and the rooms clean and spacious. Words of warning: Many of the restaurants in the downtown area are closed on Sunday. Fortunately those closer to the hotel were open. Other guests said the service here was excellent. The front desk staff had lots of good ideas about sightseeing and shopping.
