About the Midge's Birch Lane B&b
Midge’s Birch Lane bed and breakfast comprises just four rooms in a private home set in a one acre garden filled with flowers and birch trees. According to Midge there is also the occasional visit from a moose. The house is 10 minutes from the airport, train station and downtown Fairbanks. The two storey house is close to the University Museum and The Riverboat Discovery.

This has got to be a fun place to stay. Don’t expect a lot of company. The house has only got four rooms for guests but you can be assured of some personal and friendly service. Great place for nature lovers but not a spot for a lively, luxury vacation.

The four rooms are nicely furnished with comfortable beds and have the benefits of either air conditioning or heating. You may be expected to share a bathroom.

Breakfast is the speciality of the house. Midge promises a hot, gourmet breakfast daily. Items you can expect are fresh pastries, crepes, smoked salmon, quiche and sourdough waffles. On warm days you can relax on the deck in a hammock or on cool days in the living room with a fireplace.
