About the Borealis Inn

Borealis Inn is within walking distance to downtown Fairbanks. In the summertime guests can enjoy a short stroll to the summer activities including Alaska's Pioneer Park, restaurants and theaters. All 5 rooms are non-smoking and air conditioned with a private bathroom. Desks, telephone and data ports are available in each room. In season, guests are welcome to barbeque on the large cedar deck. Borealis Inn is centrally located to restaurants, banks and movie theaters. The inn is about an 8 minute drive from Fairbanks Airport. The staff can assist guests with their travel or convention needs. For those guests travelling onwards the inn has luggage storage. The inn owners prides themselves on their high stand of maintaining a clean inn. Complimentary parking is available.

Borealis Inn Accommodations

Each of the 5 rooms have air conditioning, in-room desks and data ports. The rooms have single and queen size beds. Each room has its own private bathroom. Rollaway beds are available. One room is available with a kitchenette. A delicious continental breakfast is served each morning. A cedar deck with barbque allows guests to cook their catch and enjoy the long summer Alaskan nights.

Amenities offered

The Borealis Inn staff speak English, Spanish, Japanese and Korean. Guests are welcome to use the facsmilie in the business office. A message board is also available for guest use. All rooms have safes for guest needs. Rollaway beds are also available. Some of the rooms have a microwave and sitting area with couch. All rooms are non smoking rooms. The staff does not reside on the premises so late arriving guests need to make prior arrangements for check in.

From Fairbanks Airport, the inn is an 8 minute drive, Take Airport Way through 5 sets of light. At Lathrop turn left. The inn is on the corner of Lathrop and Airport Way.
