The hotel was better than I had anticipated. The pool was entertaining, and the continental breakfast was great. It is located in a woodsy area, and moose even visited the hotel in the evenings. The maid service forgot to leave towels and other items one day and forgot to come to the room another day. All in all, we had a great stay and we would stay there again.

We only spent a night in Fairbanks on our way to Denali but the hotel had everything we needed - laundry facilities for example! It was clean, comfortable. My son loved the pool and the continental breakfast was nice.

The room was large and clean. They also accomidated my pets with no problems. Also, it is located right next to where the Ice Sculpture contests are held. I would not hesitate to stay here again! Exceeds all expectations

We never have received an apology from them for the hassles we went through. Ee do not ever plan to return to Comfort Inn.

My husband and I arrived at the airport in Fairbanks, AK and called Comfort Inn for a shuttle. They promised to send one immediately. To make a long and miserable wait into a short story....we ended up calling another hotel in the area and booking a room as the Comfort Inn did not send a shuttle. After 45 minutes (a 10 minute drive) and repeated tries to reach the Comfort Inn, we were grateful to arrange other accommodations. Our credit card was not refunded.

Staff needs to be upfront with guests when arriving if something is wrong not wait until guest complaines. We arrived and checked in and our room was a sauna when asked the front desk admitted the A/C was broken and would be fixed tomorrow - we were supplied with a fan, but our window had no screen and the mosquitos were already out. It cooled off by evening but did not make for a good experience. The pool was great and entertained my son, continental breakfast was good even though it was a little cold.

Our experience with Comfort Inn Fairbanks was that of absolute disregard for the customer. Upon arriving at The Fairbanks Airport we contacted the Comfort Inn desk via phone and requested transportation to the Inn. We were told that they would dispatch a cab for us. The cab never arrived. We chose to cancel our stay at Comfort Inn. The individual at the desk who was supposed to be taking care of our transportation dilema had displayed an attitude of unprofessionalism to the point they found it amusing. We then called the Princess Lodge and made a reservation with them. They had a very nice company van transport us to their Inn - 8 minutes after our call. l
