The location is convenient to downtown shopping, the University of Alaska, the rail depot and the major sights, including Alaskaland, the River Discovery and the El Dorado Gold Mine. For souvenirs, the onsite gift shop sells Alaskan arts and craft items. A tour desk on the property is a big plus.

This contemporary conveniently situated hotel offers a whole range of facilities for an enjoyable stay. Most of the guests were happy with nice art work, views of the river, serene and quiet location, well-decorated public areas, restaurants, attentive and warm staff, lobby with fireplace, airport shuttle, and spic and span rooms with adequate amenities.
