Could not check out fast enough to go to another hotel. Was on ground floor and had an inch of water in bathroom.

Since the address of the Hotel was 1909 Airport Way, I incorrectly assumed it was near the airport. When I called to find out where it was, the clerk had no idea where I was (the most famous hotel/restaurant in the city) Smoking rooms are right next door to non-smoking rooms, I did not appreciate that, as I am not only not a smoker, but I have asthma. The rooms did not a coffee pots or hair dryers, and felt cheap looking, but I guess that is what I should expect from the price. I would not stay there again.

We had to wait 45 minutes at the railroad station to be picked up by a taxi ordered by Super 8 desk person. That seems too long. I think they need to work with more than one taxi service.

Two couples shared a room for one night with two queen beds on the way through Fairbanks. This is a no frills motel but clean and neat with complimentary juice, coffee, and pastries in the morning. It is well located, close to the a very large Fred Meyer market, university, downtown, and the airport. Restaurants are nearby as well. One would want a car or bicycle to get around unless into walking. Prices are among the best in Fairbanks.
