Everything was good. The only complaint being we could not check in prior to 3:00, but would have liked to access our room earlier.

Took forever to check in, had to explain several times I had a reservation! Room was freezing even with thermostat all the way up. Smoke detector disabled! couldn't get out fast enough

Rooms were terrible, but not as bad as the attitude of the front desk staff. One bright light was the Russian breakfast waitress.

The room was clean, except there was hair on the shower wall from someone that previously been in the room. I did not mention that when I checked out. But over all it was nice.

Everything you could hope for in a vintage Alaskan hotel, stuffed bears,sheep, and even a musk ox! Decent food, diner style, great bar with good sourdough atmosphere, no fancy pants here. Great place to stay after three months in the woods!

Room was very cramped (a double in single space). This hotel needs updating. Restaurant was closed for renovation. Desk staff appeared to be inexperienced. Pictures in ads depict a much nicer facility than we found.
