The Captain Bartlett Inn Fairbanks Hotel, a “True Alaskan Lodge”, is a home away from home. The magnificent log design, surrounding the lobby with authentic local décor, embodies Alaskan spirit. Public Library, 16-screen Regal Cinemas Theater, Gottschalk’s Mall and Alaska Land, restaurants and shopping venues are within walking distance of the property. The location is convenient to the UAS Museum, Riverboat Discovery, Fort Wainwright Army Installation and Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. The inn provides complimentary shuttle for the Alaska Railroad Depot and the Fairbanks International Airport. Catering and other facilities are also available for weddings, receptions, banquets and meetings.

The lodge-style hotel offers an array of facilities for a comfortable stay. Almost all visitors liked its location, but they had a mix opinion about everything else. Some of them were satisfied with clean rooms, comfy beds, knowledgeable and friendly staff and value for the money spent. However, others were completely disappointed with indifferent staff, small dark rooms, dated worn out amenities, weak water pressure in shower, smell of alcohol, mal-functioning heat units and noise. Amenities offered

The Dog Sled Saloon, featuring Yukon Quest mementos and dog mushing memorabilia, is an ideal place to unwind, watch sports events and enjoy drinks. Musher’s Roadhouse Restaurant serves reasonably priced yummy food, including fresh seafood. There is a guest laundry, gift shop and conference rooms on the property. Guests can access Internet in the restaurant and the lobby.
