The staff was friendly, and the room was very nice. The GM heard our complaints about the AC and wireless internet and offered us a second night's stay for free, which we accepted.

The laundry facilities and the comfortable beds.

Air conditioner and wireless internet were intermittent while we were there. No continental breakfast.

Anchorage Hilton Garden Inn hotel, about three miles from Anchorage International Airport, provides a complete range of modern facilities for an enjoyable stay. Several popular tourist sites such as Alaska Zoo, H2Oasis Indoor Waterpark, Alaska Native Heritage Center, Earthquake Park and Anchorage Museum of History and Art are easily accessible from the property. Free shuttle service is available within a 3-mile radius of the property. The hotel also offers complimentary Neutrogena® toiletries, Starbucks® coffee and high-speed internet connectivity in the guest rooms. Safety deposit boxes, coin laundry, car rental desk and gift shop are a big plus.

This three-star hotel caters to both business and leisure travelers. Many guests liked remodeled clean comfortable rooms with nice beds, big hot tub, food, complimentary internet and shuttle, well-appointed meeting rooms, courteous friendly staff and location. However, some travelers griped about poor service, smoke smell in non-smoking rooms, hidden charges, double billing and breakfast cost. A few guests were annoyed because their room preferences were ignored.
