Spotted in downtown walking distance from various attractions such as the Museum of History and Art and the convention center, the Anchorage Grand Hotel is a wonderful retreat for visitors of Anchorage. The hotel is adjacent to the coastal trail which makes it a cinch if you ever want to go outside for a walk and take in the day while beholding beautiful coastal views. The building’s structure design dates back to 1950, but it has been recently renovated and embraced with a mix of modern eloquence which is evident in the common areas as well as in the luxurious suites.

The rooms are large, comfortable, well decorated and the entire place is very clean. Location is superb. A short walk to much of what downtown has to offer including a variety of restaurants and great shopping as well as the Alaska Railroad Station. More than worth the price.
