The hotel was styled nicely, but it seems that the layout of the rooms made it feel a bit cramped. But once again nicely decorated.

The Inlet Tower Hotel & Suites is right on the edge of downtown within easy walking distance to a great city market, school with a playground, and the Delany Park strip. A moderate walk will get you downtown, however there is a shuttle to make things easier. The hotel, a high rise by Anchorage standards, is well appointed and modern. It is a good choice for the business traveler and has a popular restaurant, the Mixx Grill, in the lobby.

Most rooms have a view, of either the Chugach Mountain Range to the East, the Cook Inlet and Mount Susitna to the West, downtown to the North and Westchester Lagoon to the South. I would recommend this as a nice mid-range property. You will get a safe place to stay at a decent price. It may not be in the center of downtown, but it is accessible to most places by walking and the free downtown shuttle can get you anywhere that you don't want to walk to. The adjacent New Sagaya City Market offers great coffee and casual meals and groceries at good prices right across the street. The lobby is sharp, if small, with modern furniture. Most of the rooms have been remodeled in the last 5 years. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful.
