About the Historic Anchorage Hotel

The Historic Anchorage Hotel has been recently restored and completely refurnished to stand true to its original quality of service. Back in the early part of the century when the city of Anchorage was beginning to blossom and for several years in its beginnings, this hotel was main gathering place and the only place in town for fine dining. The new management in this hotel has added a series of new services including high speed wireless internet and large screen TVs in every room to pleasure adventure seekers as well as business guests.

Nice little hotel with personalized service. The rooms are spacious for the most part, well furnished and very clean. The staff is very courteous and helpful. No air conditioning so summers feel hot in the rooms. Breakfast is great. The location is great, near several attractions as well as the train station and the Sunday market.
