Customer Reviews for Comfort Inn Ship Creek

Great place to stay - posted on 05/09/2006

Hotel with great rooms close to downtown and railway. Not noisy even though close to trains. Has parking. Breakfast is very ordinary but included in price. Happy to recommend this hotel. Good value for money.

Great - posted on 02/21/2006

Our room was big and comfortable and the price was right. My husband swam in the pool, I worked out in the exercise room. My daughter surfed the net and my son watched TV. We were only there one night to make an early airport run but found the room to be comfortable.

Well pleased - posted on 01/20/2006

The room was just fine, although for a three star hotel, I was surprised to find plastic cups for the in room morning coffee. Otherwise we were well pleased with our stay. Breakfast was great with lots of choices for different appetites.

We stayed here (on our $) and at the Sheraton (business). Here we got a continental breakfast, free wireless, free business center, cookies at night. Not so at the Sheraton. Much better deal. It is a hike to town, uphill

A great deal - posted on 01/27/2006

For the price this was a great hotel! From the great breakfast variety to the size of the room to the great fitness room. Our room had lots of room in addition to the 2 queen beds - the only thing that was small was the shower/toilet area. The fitness room was the best I have seen in a long time. All the machines worked and they had a full set of free weights! The pool hours were a little limiting - not opening until 9am.

Anchorage in Winter :o) - posted on 01/03/2006

The room was quiet, staff was sincerely helpful & friendly, continental breakfast was good. I've paid much more for hotels I didn't like nearly as much! We would definitely go back.

The next time I'm in town it would be very pleasing to stay there again. The front desk folks are very friendly & helpful. With a modest walk it is near every thing downtown, shopping resturants & public transportation. I would rate this Hotel a 4 star. Beaverton Oregon

Not clean - posted on 04/02/2005

Could hear everything through the ceiling. Room was not all that clean (chocolate on the phone). Remote for TV - the volume and mute would not work

A Great Place To Stay - posted on 07/07/2006

This is a great hotel - particulary if the salmon are funning in Ship Creek just out the back door of this hotel. We had a great time watching the fishermen catching 20-25 lb salmon. We spoke with several fishermen who explained the best times to fish for running salmon. The continental breakfasts were very complete and filling - nut just rolls and juice. I wish there would have been room darkening shades to block the midnight sun. The room was too light for a good "night's" sleep.

Great Family Hotel - posted on 06/27/2006

Great, safe location, helpful staff, clean throughout, quiet rooms, pool, fitness room, nice view of Ship Creek, free breakfast, free shuttle to and from airport, downtown, & train station; other tourist shuttles stop available right next to the hotel and great prices with military discounts. I did not have a car and got around just fine. Perfect for families!

After 14 hours on the train...heaven - posted on 06/23/2006

The staff was incredible. They would immediately help you/pick you up/take you anywhere/help with your bags..you name it. Great location/clean all over! The best place we stayed in from the Artic Circle to Homer. Comfort in should be proud of this property and it's people. Must be a fantastic manager to instill such

The staff was a little young and played music on thier shift at night and I could feel the bass from there speakers in my room. People would smoke in the hallways of the hotel and it gave the place a bad smell. Even though the temperture was in the single digits we had fruit flies all over the room, and when I complained they said because it was the previous guests that had food in the room before and they could not change my room.

Pool for eight - posted on 11/05/2005

Pool max capacity is eight people. No hot tub. Rooms are adequate. Ours was not a suite. Coffee maker next to sink in small area. Two queens. No plates or flatware for meals in room.
