The 105-room The Montgomery Inn is located off I-85 at exit 6 and provides accommodation well suited to the budget-minded business and leisure traveler. Items included with the room rate at this two-story motor inn are a continental breakfast, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, in-room coffee and parking. The property is eight miles from the downtown area. Area landmarks and attractions include the Civil Rights Memorial, First White House of the Confederacy, Rosa Parks Museum and Library the Shakespeare Festival, the Hyundai Plant, Garrett Coliseum, Baptist Hospital and shopping at the Montgomery Mall and the East Chase and East Dale Shopping Malls.

This inn was formerly a Hampton Inn. It didn’t get too many good reviews then and sadly it does not get a lot better now it is simply the Montgomery Inn. We give it the YES rating because of its inexpensive rates, good location close to restaurants and shops, and a team of employees who work hard under difficult circumstances. Several clients had maintenance problems and said the property could do with a double dose of TLC. Hopefully management will read this – and other reviews – and get to work putting this inn into the 21st century. Read our customer reviews?
