The 133-room Red Roof Inn Montgomery, formally the Fairfield Inn, provides inexpensive accommodation for both the business and leisure traveler. Items included in the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, parking, local telephone calls and coffee available in the lobby. The three-story pet-friendly inn is two miles from Auburn University and six miles from downtown Montgomery and the State Capitol. The hotel is near the Alabama Shakespeare Festival and East Chase Mall. Other area landmarks and attractions include the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, Old Alabama Town, Victoryland Greyhound Racing Park, the Civil Rights Memorial, Maxwell Air Force Base and the Montgomery Zoo.
