Awesome hotel, the difference between a good hotel and a great hotel is the staff, these people were the best ever! Micheal in the hotels restaurants is awesome! The roof top gardens were our favorite place to hang out with our children and relax. Rooms are excellent! I am very picky about hotels and this place made the grade.

The pet-friendly Battle House Renaissance Mobile Hotel and Spa comprises 207 rooms designed for the upmarket business traveler and vacationer. Items included with the room rate at this eight-story, non-smoking hotel are in-room tea and coffee, local telephone calls and a morning newspaper. There are 25 meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 950 guests. The hotel, originally built in 1852, is located in the city's revitalized downtown area, near the riverfront and Arthur R. Outlaw Convention Center. Other area landmarks and attractions include several golf courses, the Gulf Coast Exploreum and Imax Theater, the Bellingrath Home and Gardens, the Fort Conde Museum, the Mobile Botanical Gardens and the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park.

This is THE place to stay in Mobile according to frequent travelers to this Alabama city who have stayed at this splendid Marriott property. The professional team of employees provides the best in southern hospitality and the elegant rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. There were clients who stay the hotel does not warrant its five star rating while the majority of guests cannot wait to return here and have no hesitation in recommending the property to others.
