The pet-friendly TownePlace Suites by Marriott Mobile comprises 95 one and two bedroom suites affordably priced for both the business traveler and families on vacation. The three-story, non-smoking hotel is a one-hour drive from the Gulf Coast beaches. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, parking, local telephone calls and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Nearby landmarks and attractions include five golf courses, antebellum mansions, historical homes, and the 18th-century Fort Condé. The property is close to I-65 enabling an easy drive to the USS Alabama at Battleship Memorial Park, the Dauphin Island Sea Lab, Mobile Civic Center, Bellingrath Gardens, the Exploreum Science Center and Mobile Greyhound Park.

Towneplace Suites by Marriott Mobile Accommodations

All the suites have a kitchen with a refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, conventional and microwave oven, stove, coffeemaker, toaster and cutlery and crockery. Other amenities include a work desk with high-speed Internet access, cable television with movie channels, pullout sofa bed, telephone with voicemail, hairdryer, alarm clock and an iron and ironing board.

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness room. There is no restaurant on-site but the hotel has a list of restaurants that will deliver to the property. Places to eat nearby include the Original Oyster House, a Carrabba’s Italian Grill, an Olive Garden and an Outback Steakhouse. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area attractions and events. Other amenities include fax and copying services, a coin-operated laundry, valet dry-cleaning and a picnic area with a barbecue grill.

From Mobile Regional Airport (MOB) 8 miles: Turn left (east) onto Airport Boulevard. Travel approximately eight miles. Turn right on Montlimar Drive (Olive Garden is on corner of Airport Boulevard and Montlimar). Hotel is on the left just past Home Depot.
