Great place, eat at Waffle house better breakfast for the same money.

The staff was the friendliest that I have ever met, maids, etc.

You have to pay for the hotel breakfast, which the same setup is free with most hotels.

The 87-room Courtyard by Marriott Gulf Shores is located at the edge of the Croft Farms Coastal Golf Resort, home to 36 holes of signature golf. The three-story, non-smoking hotel caters mainly to the vacationer but does have facilities for the business traveler. There are three meeting rooms for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 110 guests. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The hotel is 3.5 miles north of the Gulf Shores beaches and a five-minute drive south of the Tanger Outlet Center. Other nearby attractions include the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Waterville USA Park and the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge.

All the guestrooms, and three suites have a work desk with ergonomic chair and high-speed Internet access, refrigerator, wet bar, cable television with movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, pullout sofa bed, hairdryer and two-line telephone with voicemail. There is a separate shower and the bathtubs have spray jets.

The great location close to the beach and five fine golf courses were a major attraction for many who visited this Courtyard. There were good reviews about comfortable beds and excellent service from a team of friendly and efficient employees. Hotel guests become members of the Clubhouse at Craft Farms and all its facilities during their stay. Words of advice from those who have stayed here: The breakfast is not included in the room rate. If you are a large family, you might find it worth your while to drive down the road to the Cracker Barrel for the first meal of the day.
