Daphne Bay is beautiful and you can go fishing, boating and swimming or just enjoy the outdoors. Daphne is called “The Jubilee City.” In the summer the “Jubilee event brings blue crabs, shrimp, and fish into the shallow waters of the shoreline where you can put them in an ice chest. There’s also a lot of entertainment nearby in Mobile such as the breathtaking Bellingrath Gardens, Mobile Carnival Museum, Gulf Coast Explorium and Mobile Museum of Art. If you are a baseball fan, there’s the Hank Aaron Stadium. You can visit the Mobile Greyhound Park and watch the dogs run. Restaurants in the area include Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse, Nautilus Seafood, Wings Sports Bar and Grille. Ask the staff if you have any questions or need directions.

I’m not sure if I would recommend the Hampton Inn in Mobile-East Bay in Daphne to my family and friends. Some rooms have a wonderful view of the bay. The complimentary breakfast is excellent. Most say the staff is friendly. Some reviewers say the rooms are very clean and others say they’re not clean. This hotel has inside safety doors for you’re security.
