Very attractive hotel; staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Hospital across the street did cause some disturbance with the ambulances arriving during the night. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

It was very clean and convenient to our daughter's college.

This is a fairly new clean hotel downtown across the street from UAB Hospital. Parking is in the garage next door. Cost is $6.00 a day and the hotel validates your ticket for in and out. Rooms are large with a very nice work area and refrigerator. The hotel is compact so no 1/2 mile walk to the lobby. Restaurant has an $8.95 breakfast with made to order omelette's. I drove down to Home wood, about 15 minutes away down I65 for dinner. There is a Shoney's around the corner but it was so filthy that we walked out. A nice hotel if you have business downtown.

Downtown hotel close to convention center.

Not a good area to walk around in at night.

Many of the travelers that visit this hotel are in the area seeking medical attention for themselves or a family member thus there is some emotional heaviness lingering in the atmosphere. Otherwise, the hotel is very clean and pristine and the staff was helpful and went out of their way to remember who we were.

They had a gym membership to a local university which was an amazing gym! The room was really nice also.

I didn't like the hotel had weird parking and we didn't receive decent instructions on how to park/use validation.
