I would recommend staying at the Jamison Inn in Alexander City, AL. This is the fourth time I have stayed there. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. The Inn is convenient to the Lake Martin and town.
The room was clean and comfortable.
We were on the second floor and there was no elevator.

Overall, room was very clean but did have shabby beds. Would have been nice to have fridge and microwave.
Housekeeping was excellent.
Beds were shabby and had a piece of metal sticking out.

The Jameson Inn Alexander City has a friendly and accommodating staff and offers a good breakfast (Belgian waffles, yum!). The rates are reasonable, and the atmosphere and decor, while not elegant or luxurious, is welcoming, clean, and comfortable. Guests appreciate that it accepts pets with pet-friendly rooms, and the Inn is close to areas of interest as well as restaurants. It's not fancy, but is a nice, clean place to stay.
