As in most quality hotels, the décor makes good use of teak and Thai silk. The hotel says it is fast becoming the number one choice among the music, media and fashion industries.

Metropolitan Bangkok Accommodations
Refreshing contemporary décor is the theme for the hotel's 171 rooms, including four penthouse suites and a two-bedroom presidential fiefdom. Great bathrooms with special toiletries and oversized towels and Internet access in every room and throughout the property.

Different dining: Cy’an is the hotel's headline 110-seat Mediterranean restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with tables on the veranda alongside the pool. Glow is a 48-seat eatery serving fresh food snacks, light meals and powerfully energizing juices. The Met Bar serves modern Asian cuisine in club-like environs from 4pm until 9pm. The bar is very popular with locals and ex-pats and busy at weekends. Other services: Personalized shopping itineraries, gift wrapping, a business center and theatre and golf reservations.
