About the Chateau de Bangkok

Located in the growing business district of central Bangkok, this 135 combination of different sized apartments is far from luxurious but does provide reasonable accommodation. The hotel claims it has the full service of a first class hotel but many guests have been complaining about the tired look of the rooms and discourtesy of some of the staff – a rare and sad occurrence in Thailand. The staff situation is sad because most employees here try so hard to make guests feel at home. The property’s location near Lumpini Park – the biggest green area in Bangkok – is a decided asset.

Chateau de Bangkok Accommodations

The accommodation includes studios and one and two bedroom apartments which are air conditioned, and each unit has a safety deposit box, kitchen, minibar, satellite TV and Internet access. Room service serving a variety of hot and cold dishes is available from 6.30am until midnight.

Amenities offered

The Paparazzi is the on-site restaurant which, as the name suggests, serves a selection of Italian dishes for both lunch and dinner. There is a daily antipasti buffet and a wide variety of pizza and pasta, Thai and international dishes are also available. The adjoining bar is open from 6.30pm until 11pm and there is happy hour every day. There is a business center on site, a swimming pool, with a bar nearby, and a fitness center and sauna.

From the airport take the motorway to Rama 9 Road and go onto the Rama 9 Expressway. Exit at Dindaeng. Then follow the signs to Sukhumvit, drive straight for two kilometers. Take the U-Turn to South Ploenchit. In 200 meters Soi Ruamrudee will be on the left side. Turn left into Soi Ruamrudee and Chateau de Bangkok will be on the left.
