This is up-in-the-air luxury since the 235 guest rooms of the Pan Pacific Bangkok Hotel start on the 24th floor of a 32-storey building. As a result all offer panoramic city views. This hotel is one of the top places to stay in Bangkok. It is just the right size to have all the facilities you need in a city hotel but small enough that you get the benefit of personal Thai service. It has a great location, opposite Bangkok’s biggest green area, Lumpini Park, and 35 kilometers from Suvarnabhumi International Airport. A choice of five restaurants and bars offer an array of sumptuous eastern and western cuisine.

Yes, and yes. This is luxury on a large scale in a relatively small hotel by Bangkok standards. The only complaint noted is that you need to be at the swimming early if you want a spot in the shade. Perfect accommodation for tycoon or tourist. Expensive – but worth it! Read our customer reviews?

Each spacious deluxe room offers a well-stocked bar, desk, and a separate shower and bathtub plus a 32-inch LCD TV with 20 premium free-to-air and satellite channels, Internet access, a personal safe, two-line phones. Rooms on the six atrium floors also have newspapers and magazines, evening maid service, coffee and tea maker and free use of the fitness centre. Three specific floors on the 30th, 31st and 32nd levels cater for the business traveler. Additional benefits include complimentary Internet access and a personal butler. The Pacific Lounge provides complimentary breakfast, coffee and tea and evening cocktails.

Restaurants and Lounges: Heights Café has international cuisine; Hai Tien Lo is Cantonese and Keyaki, Japanese. Drinks and snacks are available at the Lobby Lounge and the popular bar The Finishing Post. Short Cuts, is the hotel’s bakery shop.
