The Eastin Bangkok Hotel, formerly The Empress Bangkok Hotel, provides great value for the business and leisure traveler who does not need all the trappings of a five star hotel. The property is well maintained and has a choice of good accommodation. There is a pleasant pool in a garden setting, spa and fitness center, business center and room service is available 24 hours a day. There are several meeting rooms on the eighth floor for meetings and parties that handle up to 300 guests. Fair prices for the rooms and all hotel services.

The hotel is a little out of the way. But you can’t have everything when you pay the reasonable prices that this hotel charges. Taxis in Bangkok are cheap and normally easy to find. For guests who require more space and a greater degree of comfort it is worth considering paying more for one of the the 15 spacious suites. The 284 rooms and 15 suites are decorated in Thai Lanna style - reflecting the richness of northern Thai cultures and traditions. All accommodation comes with a mini-bar, IDD telephone with bathroom extension, private safety box, Internet access and tea and coffee making facilities.
