If you have enjoyed an Intercontinental hotel elsewhere in the world, you’re going to be thrilled with this one. It's got 381 rooms all with space, style, super service and a great location in Bangkok’s best shopping district. The award winning buffet breakfast has to be seen to be believed. If you don’t want to spend $30 on breakfast a good alternate is the deli located on the ground floor where two can have delicious Danish with coffee and have change from $8. Word of warning to those who like to stay close to sea level – the guest rooms don’t start until the 18th floor.

Intercontinental Bangkok Accommodations

All rooms are spacious, lack nothing, and are tastefully and expensively furnished. Top marks too for bathrooms, towels and toiletries. Nice touch. Every room has a full size ironing board and iron.

Amenities offered

Dining here is a delight no matter which of the four restaurants you select. The 24-hour room service is swift and stylish and considering this is a five star property, the prices are reasonable. The swimming pool on the 37th floor is a haven away from the busy city below. Internet access in various forms is available throughout the property for a fee. All the centers – beauty, business and fitness – are all top class.

From Suvanaphumi Airport: Take the Bangkok Chonburi Expressway. Then take Bangna Sukhumvit expressway and keep left and exit onto Ploenchit Road. Drive past the first two intersections and the hotel is located 100 meters from the second intersection on the right hand side.
