The three-storey New Majestic Hotel is housed in a restored conservation shop house built in 1928. It is less than half a mile from the heart of Chinatown, and Club Street, a stretch of restored three-storey shop houses that are home to a collection of trendy eateries and bars, art galleries and specialty shops, and boutique spas. The hotel is approximately half a mile from the business district while the Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre is two and a half miles away. The open-concept, period-inspired lobby of New Majestic Hotel sets the tone for modern Cantonese cuisine served on customized handmade china-ware at the Majestic Restaurant.

This boutique designer hotel fuses international modern designs with local flavor. There are five rooms decorated by five well-known Singaporean creatives, including a fashion show producer and a fashion designer, while the other rooms are decorated by nine emerging Singaporean artists. The result is a hotel awash with colorful, dramatic and unique rooms, so that each stay is a different experience. New Majestic Hotel Accommodations

Each of the 30 rooms at New Majestic Hotel features a customized bath tub and either a hanging bed (Hanging Bed Room), mirror walls & ceilings (Mirror Room), a glass-encased bath tub (Aquarium Room), or a loft (Loft Room). All rooms have individually controlled air conditioning, plasma/LCD screen television, wireless broadband Internet access, personal stereo, bedding by Ploh luxury brand, and Khiel’s toiletries.

Amenities offered

The 10-metre long swimming pool of New Majestic Hotel is hard to miss – located on the second level, there are three glass portholes at the pool’s bottom looking in to the Majestic Restaurant below. If guests would like suggestions on exploring other areas away from Chinatown, the concierge will oblige with transport arrangements as well. The hotel also provides laundry and babysitting services on request.

By MRT: Alight at Outram Park station and exit to Bukit Pasoh Road through the underpass by following the directional signs. Walk along Bukit Pasoh Road to arrive at New Majestic Hotel.

By car: From the airport, travel along the East Coast Parkway in the direction of the city. Continue along East Coast Parkway Exit 18 then get on Keppel Road, followed by Anson Road. From Anson Road, turn left on to Enggor Street. After a short distance, turn right on to Tanjong Pagar Road followed by another right turn on to Craig Road. Take a left on to Neil Road, then turn right on to Bukit Pasoh Road. Continue along to arrive at New Majestic Hotel.
