Parkroyal on Beach Road (formerly Plaza Parkroyal Singapore) is located within walking distance from the historical Malay enclave of Kampong Glam, where one of Singapore's most important mosques, the Sultan Mosque, is located. The hotel is known for its award-winning Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant serving authentic Cantonese, Hunan and Si Chuan cuisine, as well as the nostalgic Club 5, a favorite spot for ballroom dancers on weekends. The Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre is about a mile away while the financial district is about two miles away.
