Always the Best - posted on 03/03/2007

Pan Pacific is a full service hotel that is always ready to serve. They are quick to respond to any request. Plus the gym was excellent.

Disappointed in this 5-star - posted on 12/26/2006

For the price - I had my doubts. I wanted to like it. But it disappointed. So-So rooms. Aloof service. Screaming famlies. The restaurants are terrific. Great location attached to Mall. But just not what I had hoped.

Some areas lacking - posted on 04/26/2006

The Pan Pacific has an iteresting interior design but instead of giving the hotel an airy feel it makes areas seem disjointed. The pool shower areas are nowhere near what the Shangri La have.

good enough - posted on 04/20/2006

the hotel was good value for money given the good rate we got. main problem was after first day of swimming, given it is easter holiday, it seems they don't clean the water anymore in the following days. my son actually got bronchitis after swimming there for a few days, I suspect it has to do with drinking the pool water as he is only 2.

One of the five best locations around Marina Square within easy public or taxi commute to all of Singapore's attractions. 15 minutes to the airport, 35 minutes to the train station. Part of an excellent shoppoing and restaurant complex. Close to expressway for trips to the Zoo, Mt. Faber or Orchid World. Japanese management cater to student groups and asian couples. One of the few Chinese rooftop retaurants - but interior well lite without lounge.
