Negara on Claymore, formerly known as the Meritus Negara Singapore, is located on a quiet side road just off the Orchard Road shopping stretch and behind Palais Renaissance shopping complex, which counts Prada, DKNY and Versus luxury boutiques as tenants. From the hotel, the business district and Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre are approximately two miles away while the Clarke Quay dining and entertainment stretch is one and a half miles away. Guests who prefer quieter dining environs can opt for the hotel’s Vibe restaurant, which offers a specialty grill buffet and contemporary European a la carte menu.

By MRT: Alight at Orchard station and follow the directional signs along the linked underpass to arrive at Shaw House, located at the junction of Orchard Road and Scotts Road. Walk along Orchard Road against the flow of traffic. Pass Shaw House, International Building, the Royal Thai Embassy, and Palais Renaissance. Turn right at the junction after Palais Renaissance and walk along Claymore Road. Turn right on to Claymore Drive to arrive at Negara on Claymore.
By car: From the airport, travel along the East Coast Parkway in the direction of the city. Take East Coast Parkway Exit 15 to get on Rochor Road then continue on to Rochor Canal Road heading toward the west. From Rochor Canal Road, get on Bukit Timah Road heading west. Continue on to Newton Circus then turn left on to Scotts Road. After approximately half a mile, turn right on to Stevens Road heading west. Take a right on to Draycott Drive followed by another right on to Claymore Hill. Turn left on to Claymore Road then take another left on to Claymore Drive to arrive at Negara at Claymore.
