The Gallery Hotel is an art design hotel located along the Singapore River, and at the end of the Mohamed Sultan Road pub stretch. The hotel offers several dining and entertainment options, notably contemporary and Asian cuisine at Zenden, Japanese yakitori at Torisho Taka by Aoki, chocolate fondue at the smoke-free Zenden Lounge, and party theme nights at Cocco Latte dance club. Within walking distance from the hotel are Zouk night spot, and the eateries and bars at Robertson Quay. The business district, and Clarke Quay dining and entertainment stretch are about a mile away. The latter is home to restaurants such as Hooters of Singapore and Renn Thai, bistros like Haagen Dazs, Ministry of Sound night spots and the thrilling G-Max Reverse Bungy.

Besides art and photograph galleries, the hotel has 19 rooms and suites that are each uniquely decorated by regional designers interpreting the theme 'Five Walls, Defying Definitions' for the 'Creative Youth Xchange @ Gallery Hotel' competition/workshop held in 2005. From the airport, travel along the East Coast Parkway in the direction of the city. Continue along East Coast Parkway Exit 15 then get on Rochor Road. Turn left on to Beach Road then take a right on to Middle Road. After a short distance, turn left on to North Bridge Road and continue along before turning right on to North Boat Quay. Turn right to River Valley Road, and after about half a mile, turn left on to Unity Street. Turn left on to Mohamed Sultan Road and travel a short distance before turning left on to Nanson Road. Continue to arrive at Gallery Hotel.
