The Shangri-La Hotel Singapore is situated in a quiet residential area off the popular Orchard Road shopping stretch, surrounded by 15-acres of greenery. There are seven food & beverage outlets at the hotel. Most notable are BLU, which serves contemporary cuisine with French inspiration, and Shang Palace for its Cantonese cuisine and exquisite moon-cakes during the Mid-Autumn Festival in Singapore. The Line offers international flavors while the Rose Veranda has a selection of 101 tea varieties with accompanying English and Asian pastries for afternoon tea. The hotel is two and a half miles from the business district and the Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre, while Clarke Quay entertainment and dining stretch by the Singapore River is within two miles from the hotel.

From the airport, travel along the East Coast Parkway in the direction of the city. Continue along East Coast Parkway Exit 15 then get on Rochor Road. Continue on to Rochor Canal Road and carry on to Bukit Timah Road. Travel for about one mile then turn right on to Newton Circus and take the first left to Scotts Road. Turn left on to Draycott Drive and continue on to Ardmore Park. Turn left on to Anderson Road followed by Orange Grove Road. Continue to arrive at Shangri-La Hotel Singapore.
