Standing at the junction of Outram Road and Havelock Road, the Holiday Inn Atrium Singapore (formerly known as the Concorde Hotel) is identifiable by its 27-storey glass façade. Diagonally across the road is the complex housing Zouk and Velvet Underground nightspots while Great World City shopping complex is less than half a mile away. From the hotel, walk for less than a mile east along the Singapore River to arrive at Clarke Quay entertainment strip, home to establishments like Hooters restaurant, Ministry of Sound nightspot and G-Max Reverse Bungy. Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre is three miles away.
