WOWZER! Our standard room had marble floors, counters & dressers- elegant! Excellent, friendly service- recommended a great place for dinner in town- clean room, fresh flowers everywhere you turn. Excellent place to get married, honeymoon, or just get away! Great pool, nice beach, beautiful place to eat breakfast- good food too.

The Hotel was great. There's free scuba rentals, and jet skis.In the afternoon they had beautiful candle light buffets for all the guests, and live music. There's also an area for kids, with live music, puppet shows and plays. The set back is that it is all in Spanish, but then again, I was outside the U.S. so I wasn't expecting to hear much English. This is a nice place, and I plan on comming back for my Fiance's birthday!

Stay away. We went for a honeymoon in December and it was awful. Service was poor. Hardly any English was spoken. Although there are multiple restaurants, only 1 or 2 was open at a time. The really nicest restaurant was only open for one day of our 6 day stay. There is nothing to do in town--do not go to the old town. I won't repeat what we saw there. The beach was OK, but it was nothing special. I would not stay here again if you paid me. We asked to be transferred up to Puerto Vierta and they OK, we can get you a room up there, but you still have to pay for your room here. Truly awful.
