Customer Reviews for Le Meridien Cancun

Not worth the money - posted on 11/29/2006

I didn't have the best time at this hotel. They had a huge discount at the time so I went, but it was still not worth the money. Everything is over priced. Only thing I did like was the heated pool, but other than that nothing stood out. If you are rich and you need to stay at name brand hotel, this should do, but if you are looking for fun and deals, this isn' t the place.

Where's the food? - posted on 10/11/2006

Enjoyed our hotel stay; however, the hotel restaurant food is definitely not worth the price. Fortunately, there are some good restaurants in the area -- some are located in neighboring hotels.

A return trip - posted on 09/26/2006

This was our second stay at Le Meridien and it was just as great. The doorman remembered us from our 1st. stay a yr. prior !! They really go out of their way. The breakfast buffet is the best I've seen. The spa is to die for. Only gripe the beds are way to firm.

great facility - posted on 06/24/2006

the hotel was superb. The service was wonderful--nice and courteous (pool side service a little slower-but you are reaxing so not as important). The spa and the gym are great. Gym needs better airconditioning, but the equipmet is up to date and kept in good condition.

Great, but. . . . - posted on 05/11/2006

This hotel is really nice and the staff was VERY friendly. The only complaint that I heard every person that came down our hallway in the evening/late night. If you sleep hard, you probably wouldn't notice. The facilities are world class.

Cancun Le Meredian - posted on 04/21/2006

The hotel is first class. Service is perfect. Views from room are excellent. I definitely recommend a balcony room as the never have to leave the sound of the ocean. Food was good. Pools are great. Nothing needs improvement.

Life at the Keriden could not be better. The staff was exceptional and the hotel itself was beyond beautiful. The beachfront is exquisite and the pools are divine. The spa is an extra special treat and the continental breakfast was scrumptous.

Best hotel, vacation - posted on 07/12/2005

First time to Mexico/Le Meridien. Traveled internationally/domestically, staying in great hotels. Le Meridien is the best of all. Amazing staff. I got hurt towards the end of trip. Concierge arranged for a doctor, meds, wheelchair/crutches. Food really good. Single girls traveling amongst couples/families -- still tons of fun. Amazing pool, best beach along Caribbean. Pool staff saved our usual loungers and babysat our laptop as it charged poolside (hotel's wireless). We'll be staying at Le Meridien everytime we can!

Great for the $$$ - posted on 06/24/2005

Rooms are beautiful! You get a lot for your money here, but don't expect a large food selection. Also, pools don't connect, and there are no waterfalls. Very clean. Excellent staff. Wonderfully decorated. Spa was nice, but not world class. Great place to stay if you want to go out and experience Cancun, but not the type of resort that you would stay on for a week without leaving. A+ compared to comparably priced resorts!

Great for couples! - posted on 02/10/2005

V. clean. We were always seated promptly, the staff was graceful and attentive, and every area was beautifully maintained. The spa alone as worth the trip. The best part was that there weren't any rowdy families or teens around to break the mood!

Pleasant surprise - posted on 01/19/2005

Stayed in suite for 6 nights - view of ocean and lagoon. Staff attentive and helpful . Housekeeping for our room superb. Pools beautiful, but more little children, than we expected and ran out of chairs early. Pool service/food good. Drinks expensive. Booked snorkeling trip to Isla Mujeres, through the hotel. The snorkeling was good, but facilities and food were UNsatisfactory. Poor shark, penned up in a very small area for tourist pictures. But, we will be back!!
