Formerly Century Hyatt Tokyo, the Hotel Hyatt Regency Tokyo is located in Shinjuku, a thriving business, shopping and entertainment district and home to many of the most select Tokyo hotels. This property makes a good alternative to its more expensive sister hotel the Park Hyatt. This hotel is conveniently close to Shinjuku Station, with links to the Tokyo subway and services to Hakone, a popular mountain hot spring resort. The hotel operates a free shuttle bus every 20 minutes to Shinjuku station. All 741 rooms and suites enjoy panoramic views of the city.
Does HotelsByCity recommend this hotel?
Several guests have said upgrading to one of the rooms on the Regency Club floor is well worthwhile. The benefits are a fine breakfast buffet and the free cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the evening. There were many favorable comments about friendly and efficient staff. Those who have stayed here and at the Park Hyatt say this is more affordable and the services available to businessmen are equally as good. Read our customer reviews?

The hotel’s spa and wellness center is located atop the property with spa, pool and fitness areas having views of the city and Mount Fuji. On the ground level there are boutiques and shops for gifts, fashion, books and designer items.
