Bali is a favorite among world travelers. Although many have found this island paradise, its still retained much of its natural beauty and its people continue to invite their guests back again and again. When you arrive you’ll notice the smells of the tropical flowers, the way the women walk proudly through the rice fields and the quiet demeanor of the elderly as they watch you walk by.
Explore the miles of sandy beaches and watch the surfers glide over the waves. Keep your eyes open for the amazing flowers and the fascinating wildlife. Although there aren’t any more Tigers that call Bali home, you’ll see quite a few monkeys and many different species of birds.
Even though a simple walk through the streets can be a mini sightseeing tour, there are many great ways to explore the entire island. Take the off-road journey through rice paddies, mountain streams and tropical rain forests on your own all terrain vehicle, A.T.V. for short. Take a boat ride along the Coast of Nusa Dua to Uluwatu and catch a glimpse of the dolphins. Explore one of Bali’s most famous landscapes as you visit Gunung Batur. Just south of here is Ubud. There are many beautiful galleries and the Puri Lukisan Museum, which are worth exploring. This area is also home to the dense Monkey Forest, just south of the town centre. Or visit the famous Besakih Temple on the slopes of holy Mount Agung.
Before you head off to this amazing paradise, make sure you read up on Visa regulations. Depending on which country you’re from, you might be able to get a Visa when you arrive. Also, if you’re planning on doing a lot of jungle trekking, you may want to consider taking malaria pills before you come. But when you do arrive you’ll find out soon enough why its become a favorite place for so many to visit.
