Jaipur Hotel Guide Cheap Jaipur Hotels

Together with Delhi and Agra, Jaipur is a part of India's Golden Triangle. These famous cities are some of the most visited tourist destinations and each has something for you to discover. Often called the pink city, Jaipur's streets are wide and laid out well, which is quite the novelty for an Indian city. This makes exploring a lot simpler. However, it is important to keep in mind that Jaipur is a very busy and packed city. The sheer number of people and buildings often overwhelm visitors. Thus, it is best to go exploring during non-peak times. Although some people crave to be part of this hustle and bustle, you should be prepared to be in traffic for a (long) while.

What does Jaipur have to offer? There are many fantastic sites for you to discover. The royal City Palace is an impressive white building located along Lake Pichola. Its exterior features towers, balconies and terraces while the indoors are decorated with paintings, marble and silver. Located inside the Palace are a number of sites. One of its most popular is the Govind Deo Ji Temple, which attracts thousands of followers during the Hindu festivals.

Make your way to the Aravalli Hills and locate the Nahagarh Fort. Built back in 1734 you'll enjoy this historic building all the while taking in stunning views of the city below. The Amber Palace is one of Jaipur's most visited attractions because of its stunning architecture. Located close to it is the Jaigarh Fort where you'll find one of the world's largest cannons. The view from here is quite impressive as well.

The Jal Mahal, also known as the Water Palace is found in the centre of Man Sarobar Lake. The summer months are so warm that this lake often dries up but after monsoon season the lake is full and home to many types of beautiful flora. The Galtaji Temple is located about six miles from Jaipur and is filled with various pavilions, natural springs and temples.

Although Jaipur has a number of fantastic sites for you to visit the bazaars are worth discovering as well. Filled with colours, scents, sounds and interesting sites your time here will overwhelm your senses. In fact, your entire stay in Jaipur will seem to overwhelm you and that's why so many come to discover what it has to offer.
