This is a modern and clean hotel. Close to all of our shopping and transportation needs. Amazing experience and great value for the $$. A+ Recommendation!

Free internet access is advertised (and is available only in cafe area). Advertisement was misleading and you have to pay for internet access in the room. Room was way too small.
Decent hotel - posted on 12/19/2005
This is my 2nd stay at this hotel. Very convenient location. Excellent front desk staff. Nice gym to work out. Room is small but ok by HK standard. Room starts to show age though. Needs better ventilation, cos there was a mildew odor when I first got in the room.

If you're only in HK for one night and heading elsewhere, this is a great place to stay. Cheaper than most, very clean, good location.

Room to small and plain. Lots of stain on the carpet. Very old mattress.Summarizing it looks like a 4* hotel outside and 2* inside

Loved my vacation here. Really nice hotel with helpful staff in a great location. Plenty fancy enough for me.
One of the best deals in HK` - posted on 06/05/2005
We stayed 9 days at the Eaton and were more than pleased . The location is fabulous: the Jade Market is literally blocks away. Nathan Road is right there, the subway less than a 5 minute walk. Our room wasn't large, but had all we needed The bathroom was nearly as large with a marble-surround bath. Great views, beautiful rooftop pool and exercise room on the top floor. Starbucks just opened across the street. Great coffee shop in the Eaton with very reasonable prices. Internet access available in rooms. We would definitely stay at the Eaton again if we're lucky enough to go back to Hong Kong.

This was our first trip to Asia/Hong Kong (my wife and I). We conducted extensive hotel research ahead of time and decided on the Eaton. Yes, everyone's expectations of a foreign hotel are different, however It's location/price are unbeatable! You will find the hotel's convenience to everything (Subway, Airport Train, Walking to Ladies Market, Temple St Market, Jade, Nathan Road) is perfect. Rooms are very comparable to those of Europe, very clean and suitable! Feel free to email me with any questions!
Disappointing - posted on 01/31/2005
Our stay here was disappointing. Our room was not ready for 1 hour after we arrived at 4pm. The room was very small and cramped, with a terrible view out the window, and a crying child that could be heard through the thin walls all night. For the price, we were disappointed. However, the Hotel has a great outdoor patio off the lobby, and is convenient to the MTR (subway)and the Night Market.
Enjoyed their stay - posted on 01/12/2005
We really liked the hotel and the staff were terrific! However - we asked for a quiet room and I felt the room was noisy Unfortunately, our bathroom had a stong sewage smell that was very unpleasant but other than that we all thought it a great place to stay. The dim sum restaurant was superb ! There were nice places to sit in the foyer and coffee house and the Eaton Club room was well appointed .
