Great bungalows - posted on 02/16/2007
Beautiful hotel: bungalows incredibly large and luxurious, spa very enjoyable. Though lagoon has no coral, no multicolored fishes swimming around. Drawback is that you?re stuck on the Motu with nothing around. Food at the Reef restaurant is good but expensive. Avoid the Sands restaurant: food there is mediocre. Instead try the buffet next door at Le Meridien: great, cheaper and they will arrange a boat shuttle to take you there.
Really nice, needs time to get up and running - posted on 07/06/2006
My wife summed this hotel up best when were there on our honeymoon in June "In a year, this place is going to be one of the finest in Tahiti". Rooms are incredible, views of Bora Bora Island are spectacular, staff are helpful and friendly. Cons - grounds are all newly planted, need time to grow in, still working out staff/service kinks, disappointing that the spa would not be running until Sept. But the bare bones are there, the facility is amazing, the lagoon is clear and beautiful, food was good. Air conditioning excellent, concierge very helpful, staff all smiles.
