Does HotelsByCity recommend this hotel?
Recent guests here have all praised the polite service and great accommodation and dining. Some have commented that the rooms are a little smaller than some Grand Hyatts but the amenities are equal, if not better. Several former clients highly recommend the meet-and-greet service the hotel has at the airport. Security throughout Cairo, particularly at the airport, is extremely strict. Having a helping hand through the arrival formalities is well worth the charge the hotel makes for the service. Cairo is a very busy and crowded city and everyone agrees that this hotel provides a perfect and safe oasis away from the clamor. Read our customer reviews?
Most rooms and suites have a sweeping view of the Nile from an elegant room with a private balcony and rich Egyptian accents. The least expensive 34-square meter rooms have a separate work area with high-speed Internet access, marble bathroom with plush robes, hairdryer and phone, and two twin beds. Other amenities include: Satellite TV, in-room safe, minibar, electronic locks and IDD telephone with voicemail. A newspaper is delivered daily and room service is available around the clock.
Top dining spot has to be The Revolving Restaurant on the 41st floor of the hotel, the highest restaurant in the Middle East. It is 30 meters in diameter and rotates 360 degrees in 75 minutes, bringing the Pyramids, the River Nile and the entire city of Cairo into view. The restaurant offers French cuisine prepared in a show kitchen. There is an open-air dining promenade alongside the river and the hotel’s yacht, Marquise, offers three dining venues whether docked alongside the hotel or during its daily lunch and dinner cruise. The Health Club consists of a two-level fitness area with a fully equipped gymnasium, a sauna, steam bath, Jacuzzi, solarium, massages and treatments. The outdoor pool area comprises a 360-square-meter swimming pool and a separate 16-square-meter children's pool.
