We enjoyed our stay at the Irazu. Staff was helpful, and having the airport shuttle was very convenient.

The hotel facilities are clean and modern, with nicely landscaped grounds and pool area. The noise at the bar/disco is quite loud - request a room at back of hotel.

Was nothing special. It was ok for us, a group of 30. One cool thing is that the hallway lights get brighter as you walk. Was a safe hotel.

We stayed here our last night and it was very nice. The room was great, grounds very well taken care of and the staff accomodating. The bar was active. After eating "typical" food all week we ate at the Denny's on the property and were dissappointed. Overall a nice place with plenty to do.

The room was absolutely horrible. Whe I complained, the staff member at the fornt desk was very curt. We did get another room, but it wasn't much better. The carpeting was stained and the furniture was falling apart.

The rooms are very dirty, and the hallways smell like dirty shoes. Was very loud because of construction at 6 a.m.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The bar is excellent and the property is very well maintained in a nice part of the city. A nice but small casino is on the property with a gorgeous pool and tennis courts - I really enjoyed my stay.
