Grand Cayman is a beautiful island that gives you the option of mixing business with pleasure. The offshore banking industry has made a permanent home in Grand Cayman. There are close to 700 financial groups here, which helps make it the banking heart of the Caribbean. But even if you’re here on business, it’s near impossible to not take part in any pleasure. The west side of the island is geared towards the tourists and has a great selection of restaurants, nightclubs and resorts. If you’re looking for an authentic Cayman meal, make your way to the eastern side.

Grand Cayman is the largest of the three Cayman Islands. George Town is its capital and the port for many cruise ships. Because of this, it’s also a great place to go shop… and with several shopping plazas at your fingertips, you’ll love the options. Just north of here you’ll find one of the most beautiful white beaches in the Caribbean. The glorious Seven Mile Beach (SMB) is a long strip of heaven located on the western shore. Because it is one of the very best beaches around, it’s also the place for hotels and resorts. Ironically, the beach today is only five miles long… erosion is taking its toll here. At night the flip flops are traded in for dancing shoes, especially on West Bay Road.
Take a short boat ride to the amazing Stingray City. The shallow water and sand bars makes for a fantastic place to feed, pet and play with the beautiful creatures. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon. Another fun place to visit is the shipwrecked Ten Sails. Bodden Town, located in the southern district, is home to the historic Pedro St. James. It’s the oldest existing structure on Grand Cayman. Bodden is also close to pirate caves… maybe you’ll find some forgotten booty.
