Apart Recoleta provides good value for the money (10% discount is available for payment in cash). The description of the Hotel's surroundings is accurate. The Hotel staff speaks English, is very friendly and helpful, and will book tours and tango shows. We mostly used busses and the subte (subway) to get around town, although subte access from the Hotel is inconvenient. Those modes of transportation may be difficult if you're non Spanish speaking, but taxis are everywhere. The carpet in the room could use a shampooing or replacement; otherwise the room and hotel were clean.

hotel is well located in recoleta. However, it is old and outdated. I have stayed many times and the a/c is never good.

I have stayed here 7-8 times. Location is best in City. But it is an old worn hotel. decor is non existant, AC/heat is crap shoot.

Old, run down beds ; elevators old ( a joke) I was going to stay longer and decided to leave the second night
