Quaint, cute and right next to Seville’s famed gothic cathedral the Hostal Picasso provides perfect accommodation for the backpacker with limited funds who is able to find comfort in cramped quarters. The hostel has very limited amenities - you have to go elsewhere for breakfast or a cup of coffee – but it has a special charm with lots of Spanish tiles and plantings and the employees’ smiles make it a cheerful place to stay.

Bargain price in a great location. The hostel is in a typical Seville house built at the beginning of the last century. Its location for the historic sights is unbeatable. Turn right from the hostel and you are at the cathedral and the gardens of the Alcazar. Turn left to the Puerta de Jerez where you can take a bus to any part of the city. Minus points: Not all rooms have balconies that overlook the street and there is no elevator. Read our customer reviews?
The 60 rooms have air conditioning and heating, TV, a safe and a small fully-equipped bathroom. You have to leave a refundable deposit at reception for remotes to operate the TV and air conditioning.
The amenities are limited to a 24-hour reception desk where at times you may find someone who doesn’t speak English. There is a 24-hour supermarket nearby and you will find plenty of bars and restaurants in the area.
