Elegant hotel with friendly English-speaking staff. Clean, comfortable hotel - the best I've ever experienced. Excellent room service (delicious food and quick service). Difficult to find with rental car, but all the cabbies know it.

We spent two separate nights at the Melia Colon. Great location. Friendly, professional staff members who are willing to "go the extra mile." We both speak Spanish, but the staff is very patient with those who don't. Our two different rooms (one on each side of the hotel) were clean, well-equipped with everything in perfect working order. A previous review mentioned small, thin towels - ours were oversized and fluffy! The desk clerk recognized us and greeted us by name when we checked in for our second night. We will definitely stay at the Melia Colon on our next visit to Seville!

Excellent location although quite difficult to find initially. Clean and comfortable, room let down by toilet cubicle off the bathroom which was antiquated and had little ventilation. Very helpful friendly staff on reception. Did not use any other hotel facilities
