Great value for a hotel that well deserves its four stars, The Hotel Puerta Madrid, which opened in 2002, offers excellent accommodation, great service and is only a five minute drive from the city’s Barajas International Airport and the Juan Carlos trade fair center. For those wanting to travel to the center of the city there is a bus stop next to the hotel (bus number 146) which will get you in the center in 25 minutes. A taxi will get there faster and will cost about €12.

The price and quality of this hotel make it an excellent choice for visiting Madrid. Its location in the northeastern part of the city does have both advantages and disadvantages. You are closer to the airport but away from the main tourist attractions. If the hotel were in the city center the prices would be considerably higher. The cost of traveling into the city by bus or taxi may be worth the advantage of staying in quieter neighborhood. Read our customer reviews?

Silken Puerta Madrid Accommodations

All of the hotel’s 194 rooms have air conditioning and heating and are well soundproofed. All the accommodation has satellite TV, Internet access, mini bar, in-room safe and a trouser press. The marble bathrooms have a hairdryer and telephone. There are separate floors for smokers and non-smokers. The top floor of the hotel is reserved for the executive rooms where clients can enjoy their own lounge and spa.

Amenities offered

All hotel guests have the use of a complimentary shuttle service to the airport and trade fair. The service runs from 8am to noon and from 6pm to 9pm in the evening. . The hotel restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a varied international menu. Room service is available around the clock. The multi-lingual reception staff can arrange tours and excursions as well as organize laundry and dry cleaning.
